Description
The “X” stands for the Roman ten and marks the bottle of this edition – simple, yet dominant.
Distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2023, the 10-year-old single malt matured in a 500-litre French oak Pinot Noir barrel with a finish in 40-year-old Canadian maple syrup barrels made from American oak.
This Swiss-Canadian fusion was inspired by the “FAMILY CASK” Edition 2023, which was incredibly well received and brought out very special flavours. In addition to the typical cocoa, coffee and dried fruit flavours, we find intense notes of pecan and Brazil nuts with a pleasantly sweet finish.
